Low Wattage Doesn’t Mean Dim Lighting
Concerned that a 15W or 20W solar street light won’t be bright enough? Look at the measured illuminance.
In our nighttime tests, the GH-LKL 15W recorded approximately 34 lux at a test distance of 5 meters, while the GH-LKL 20W recorded approximately 27 lux at 7 meters.
These readings show that low-wattage solar street lights can deliver useful illumination at the measured locations. For parks, walkways, residential communities and village roads, selecting the right light means considering actual illuminance, coverage and site requirements—not wattage alone.
The video show selected examples from our wider testing program. See the table for additional recorded measurements.
Readings represent illuminance at individual test points under the test conditions shown. Test distance is not mounting height; results may vary with installation angle, lighting mode and measurement position.
